How do you come up with the transmutation circles?
thx for sharing
Your alchemy stuff is really cool and really gorgeous. It seems like there's a whole community surrounding this stuff and it's very interesting to see. I'm still a bit unsure if this is mainly an artistic pursuit or if it has some connection to modern witchcraft or chaos magic or something. I think it's artistic but some of the comments left on your works are throwing me off a bit. Either way it's neat, and I imagine some witches would find this stuff useful for making sigils.
I'm also interested in where this stuff comes from. Obviously alchemy is thousands of years old but the specific idea of a transmutation circle has only existed for a few decades. I'm wondering how much of this is based on research of historical alchemy, and how much agreement there is on its rules between the different groups in this community and different people within those groups. The rules are impressively intricate and detailed.
I also second this. I can see a lot of references to FMA in some of your descriptions and writing, but this level of detail almost goes beyond fandom. Depending on one's spiritual practice, if it works, it works, so I imagine it could work in theory as a wholly spiritual form, but I'm very interested to know if this is all borne out of FMA or if there's a genuine witchcraft/modern alchemy layer to it or something else.
